Dear ERA friend,

Today is Women’s Equality Day, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the state of our democracy. We are less equal today than we were two months ago after the Supreme Court stripped away reproductive rights in America. This direct attack on nearly 50 years of legal precedent, as well as human and civil rights protections in our country, makes it more crucial than ever to recognize the Equal Rights Amendment as the law of the land. It’s been passed by Congress and ratified by 38 states - the final step is to publish the ERA as the 28th Amendment to our Constitution.

Help us ensure that the ERA is published and recognized as the 28th Amendment by taking action today:

  1. Ask Senate Majority Leader Schumer to bring SJ Res 1 (removing the time limit on the ERA) to the floor for a vote
  2. Contact the White House: Ask them to instruct the Archivist to publish the ERA as the 28th Amendment
  3. Tell your Representative to recognize the ERA as the 28th Amendment by signing on as a co-sponsor to H.Res 891
  4. Donate to support our work to get the ERA published in the Constitution

And join the ERA Coalition in coordination with some of our Coalition partners for #WomensInequalityDay TODAY. If you're on social media, here’s how you can get involved:
