About the ERA Coalition
The ERA Coalition was founded in 2014 to bring concerted, organized action to the effort to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. The ERA Coalition has a sister organization, the Fund for Women’s Equality, which promotes public education and outreach on the need for constitutional equality. Comprised of more than 120 organizations across the country, the Coalition provides education and advocacy on Constitutional equality.
The Coalition (501c4) and its sister organization the Fund for Women’s Equality (501c3) was founded in 2014 to bring concerted, organized action to the effort to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. The 28th Amendment to the Constitution would ensure that women/girls, transgender women/girls, gender-nonconforming individuals are protected under the law. While the effort to amend the constitution to include sex equality began nearly a century ago, our renewed efforts are centered on leadership in the Black, American Indian, Alaska Native and Women of Color communities, including those who are most vulnerable by systemic inequities.

The Fund for Women's Equality is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We work for equality with our 100s of coalition partners, with grassroots organizations, private sector partners in our Corporate Equality Roundtable and the ERA Coalition. Equal Voice: Equal Future Digital Hub curates the news, and stories not represented in the mainstream - stories to provide public education and awareness about sex discrimination and the need for a constitutional provision to protect and promote equal rights for women/girls and gender-expansive people. Contributions to the Fund for Women's Equality are tax-deductible.
