No matter how hard anti-equality forces try to drag us backwards, we stand firm. We pledge our belief in the Equal Rights Amendment — the 28th Amendment to our Constitution. Sex and gender equality is not a privilege for some; it is a right for all.

The ERA matters — for me, for you, and for everyone in our full diversity. It matters for our daughters and our sons, for workers, for students, for parents, for every person who deserves dignity, fairness, and freedom under the law.

This is our ERA. It’s time to claim the 28th Amendment and make clear that sex and gender equality is not negotiable. The ERA is law — now let’s ensure it’s lived, enforced, and protected. 

The Equal Rights Amendment is the law of the land.

President Biden declared this on January 17, 2025. Gender equality has been enshrined in our nation’s foundational document with the ERA. Despite misinformation and attempts to discredit its validity, our movement of movements must remain steadfast: the ERA is law. The People have spoken and we have the support of the legal community.

But anti-equality actors in government choose to ignore it—and the 78% of people in the U.S who support it. Their inaction fuels the ongoing attacks on our rights and keeps the weight of inequality in place.

A potential nationwide abortion ban. Voting rights stripped away. Science, education and workplace speech censored. The ability to compete in sports and serve in all military positions under attack. 

The war on equality is here—fight back.
