Dear equality supporter,

We have a narrow window of opportunity. I'm reaching out to invite you to join us in asking President Biden to ensure that the Equal Rights Amendment is published as a part of his legacy. We must protect our right to live free from gender discrimination – a right that so many people have fought hard for us to enjoy.

Urge President Biden to do everything he can to publish the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment to the Constitution, cementing his legacy on gender equality. The president’s influence is instrumental to getting this done.

Gender equality shouldn’t wait any longer! We’ve met all requirements for the Equal Rights Amendment to be part of the Constitution. Now it’s time for President Biden to cement his legacy as a champion for gender equality and do everything he can to make sure it’s published before the end of his presidency. Call the White House at (202) 456-1111 and demand that the ERA becomes reality.

You can also help us spread the word about this campaign via social media. We need everyone who cares about gender equality to rally for the ERA.

This is more important than ever because Donald Trump has just been re-elected as President. During his first time in office, his Administration took away important protections from women and blocked the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) from being added to the Constitution and JD Vance voted against the amendment in the Senate.

We know that President Biden is a huge supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment. He has shown support for the ERA and gender equality throughout his career. It would only be fitting, then, to add the ERA to the U.S. Constitution under a Biden Administration as the next part of his legacy.

With Trump soon to be President again we’re worried that the progress we’ve made toward equal rights could be taken away. That’s why we’re working hard right now to get the ERA added to the Constitution – before President Biden leaves the White House. The ERA has met all the requirements it needs to be added, including approval by enough states, but it’s still waiting to be published. Without it, true gender equality is out of reach, and rights we count on could be taken away.

We continue to ask Congress to affirm that the ERA is part of the Constitution before the end of this session. We will be sending urgent action alerts in the coming days on how else you can support this.

If the ERA becomes part of the Constitution, it would be a strong protection against discrimination on the basis of sex. Basic human rights shouldn’t be left at risk. So, over the next 66 days, we’re pressing Congress and asking President Biden to ensure the ERA is published, so that equality is guaranteed for everyone, once and for all.
